{"id":10918,"date":"2007-11-17T04:01:21","date_gmt":"2007-11-17T01:01:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mamchenkov.net\/wordpress\/2007\/11\/17\/google-from-the-700-mhz-point-of-view\/"},"modified":"2007-11-17T04:01:21","modified_gmt":"2007-11-17T01:01:21","slug":"google-from-the-700-mhz-point-of-view","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mamchenkov.net\/wordpress\/2007\/11\/17\/google-from-the-700-mhz-point-of-view\/","title":{"rendered":"Google from the 700 MHz point of view"},"content":{"rendered":"<!-- google_ad_section_start -->\n<p>In the last two years, the well-known fact of <a href=\"http:\/\/mobile.slashdot.org\/article.pl?sid=05\/11\/12\/1520250\">Google offering free WiFi Internet access in Mountain View<\/a>, California has almost been forgotten (except, of course, by people living in Mountain View and Googlers themselves).\u00c2\u00a0 At the time of news many were wondering about why Google is doing such a thing.\u00c2\u00a0 Not it all suddenly became obvious&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Slashdot reports that <a href=\"http:\/\/mobile.slashdot.org\/article.pl?sid=07\/11\/16\/1326214&amp;from=rss\">Google is preparing for a bid in the upcoming auction set up by FCC for a 700 Mhz radio frequency<\/a>.\u00c2\u00a0 There are a few interesting twists about the offer &#8211;
