D-Tox

I wasn’t sure that I wanted to see “D-Tox” in the cinema. So I waited for it to come out on DVD. And than I totally forgot about it. Until today.

Directed by: Jim Gillespie
Genres: Drama, Thriller, Horror
Cast: Sylvester Stallone, Charles S. Dutton, Polly Walker, Kris Kristofferson, Mif, Christopher Fulford, Jeffrey Wright, Tom Berenger, Stephen Lang, Alan C. Peterson, Hrothgar Mathews, Angela Alvarado, Robert Prosky, Robert Patrick, Courtney B. Vance
IMDB raintg: 4.7
My rating: 3.0

Not watching it in the cinema turned out to be a good decision. The film wasn’t worth it.

Overall, it is a less than average action film, spoiled mostly by the dialogs. It could have been saved easily though. All that needs to be done is a new sound track to be edited over the current footage and it can be pretty good.

There was some good acting. Especially the drama by Silvester Stallone. Later though it felt like given up on the film.
