It’s good to refresh the memory of things and people that you don’t really like once in a while. It can save a lot of time down the line.
This movie was supposed to be a romantic comedy. While there is some romance and maybe even a touch of drama, the comedy part was totally missing. Either something is wrong with my sense of humor, or there is something really wrong with the sense of humor of those people who did this film. I DIDN’T SMILE EVEN ONCE! How bad can that be?
There was no standalone humor. All the fun was supposed to come out of acting by main characters. Well, Jennifer Aniston wasn’t funny because she was very natural and cool. She just felt right. Ben Stiller wasn’t funny although he tried to make the fool out of himself. Actually he succeded in that, but that wasn’t funny. And Philip Seymour Hoffman was given the role too rediculous to make anything out of it. Although he did his job I have to say.
Anyway, my statement still stands – I don’t want to see any other movie with Ben Stiller, because he is untalanted overhyped actor who can spoil a good movie very easily. Oh, and guess what? I am not the only one who doesn’t like this guy:
Ben Stiller mentioned while on a talk show promoting the film that the ferret bit him a couple of times during production, including one time latching onto his chin.
