Flickr badge

Those of you who missed random images from my photo albums since I moved away from Gallery2, here you go – now there is a Flickr badge at the top of the frontpage of this blog.

Currently, it shows five random pictures from my Flickr account. All thumbnails are squared (I specifically chose it to be that way), so you might be missing part of the picture. If you wish to see the full version of the image, then click on the thumbnail and you will be redirected to the appropriate Flickr page. While at Flickr, you can also leave a comment for the picture, see it in different resolution, browse similar pictures (by tag), or see the relevant photo album (“set” in Flickr terms).

If you want to have a Flickr badge for your site, this page will get you started. You can have it in Flash or HTML, vertical, horizontal, or totally in your style, with 1, 3, 5, and 10 images from all your images, tagged by a certain tag, from a specific set, or from other people or groups altogether. It is very easy to setup and you can make it look exactly the way you want it.

Let me know if you like it or not, or if you’d better have it somehow or somewhere else.
