I have decided to use Flickr for yet another purpose of mine - mobloging photography. Basically, I have configured my Flickr account to work with email. From now, whenever I don’t have my camera with me, I’ll use my phone to make a picture and will immediately send it to Flickr. It will automatically tag all such pictures with ‘cameraphone’ (also ‘mobile’, ‘moblog’, and ‘p800′ but that can change).

If you have the mobile phone with camera and email, you can do the same. Login to Flickr and configure upload by email. And than you can tag you pictures with ‘cameraphone’ too. Automatically. And than we can all be a part of one huge international group that tags their pictures with ‘cameraphone’.

Epocware - the maker of a bunch of cool software for mobile phones in general and SonyEricsson in particular - announced a special offer for several of its programs. The offer stands until October 30, 2005 and it provides as much as 75% discount. That’s quite a price cut, if you ask me.

Now I wish that I wasn’t that broke…

With all the sounds out there I was surprised at how difficult it was to find good ringtone for SMS notification. All of them are either too noisy, or too long, or too disturbing, or too complicated. Finally, I came across one that really suits me well - sound of 50 cent coin (WAV, 300 KBytes).

This recent Slashdot post links to this pre-review of new Sony Ericsson P990 due to be release in the first quarter of 2006. I (and not only I - thanks Alex) felt like it was time to revisit my mobile phone feature wishlist.

Talking the phone was always distructing to me. I could never concentrate on two things at the same time very well. This is why I am very against the idea of talking on the phone while driving. Today I was proved once again that mixing mobile conversations with any other activities is a bad thing. All I wanted to do was withdraw some cash from the ATM. While talking. 30 seconds after I approached the machine, it informed me that my card was swollen for good and will not come back today. Only when I hang up, I realized that I was typing in the wrong PIN. Stupid me…
