Excellent film! The story is great – twisted and unpredictable. Sometimes it feels like there are actually two movies within it. That could have make sense, you know. Nicolas Cage plays tw people – twin brothers. Instead he could have played two different roles in to different movies.

Chris Cooper did great too. I couldn’t recognize him for some time, but than enlightment hit me and I was blown. I was re-watching ‘American Beauty’ recently and he is so different there that I had to see his filmography listing to recall any of his other roles. Only than did I realize that I saw much more of him than I thought.

Meryl Streep was boring though. I don’t know what is it with women in the movies these days, but they seem to limit themselves to very simplistic personalities. They either laugh like stupid and run around doing foolish things, or depress through the whole length of the film, preparing to cry in the end. C’mon, there is more to women than that!

Anyway, the film is very original and refreshing – and thus very recommended.
