Madagascar

Madagascar (2005)It’s good to watch an animation once in a while. “Madagascar” is one of those freshlhy released, so I decided to check it out.

Directed by: Eric Darnell, Tom McGrath
Genres: Animation, Adventure, Comedy, Family
Cast: Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith, Sacha Baron Cohen, Cedric the Entertainer, Andy Richter, Tom McGrath, Christopher Knights, Chris Miller, Conrad Vernon, Eric Darnell, David Cowgill, Stephen Apostolina, Elisa Gabrielli
IMDB raintg: 6.3
My rating: 7.5 [rate 7.5]

Unfortunately I had a really really bad copy of this flick. But that didn’t stop me from really enjoying it. It is a nice story, with excellent voices, emotions, and adventures. As always there are two sides to most of the jokes – one for kids and another one for adults. Some people can go as far as claiming homosexuality explained in this movie, but I am not one of them. The main conflict could have been interpretted in this way, but I am not sure that all ends will match the story in this perspective.

Anyway, it’s an excellent piece of entertainment and I strongly advice everyone to see it, especially to those with kids. I am going to see this it once again in the cinema when it will come (26th of August in K-Cineplex, for example).

  1. Excellent animation! I’ve watched it more than 10 times! I like DreamWorks production both movies and animations! I’m going to buy “Madagascar” DVD when it’ll be released!
