Today is the last day of the Festival. This will probably bring sadness to those who follows the event and joy to those who don’t, as I might have bored them with these post series to death by now.

Vladimir Ivaschenko has official become the CTO of Thunderworx Ltd. While this might come as a shock to some of you, but Vladimir has also become the first CTO that I know personally.
Good luck with your future career Vlad. I hope the “chief” part of it won’t make you lose the grip on the “technical” part that you’ve been known to excel at.

Again and again I find myself agreeing with this wise thought: “Things can always get worse.”. If you thought that having George Bush for the president sucked, than imagine having this guy instead. Now that would be a start of World War III coincedenting with Civil War II and Great Election Revolution. Probably some more military activity would have been noticed everywhere in the world.
Basically, this is a list of “wisdom” bits from a highly decorated Special Forces Combat Veteran and ex-POW Major Mark Smith. This list includes things like:
If any country, group, religious sect or individual threatens America, we must kill them.
and
There is no need to search for answers as to why some overseas do not like us. We should not care.
Make sure to also read the comments to the article. It would have been a lot funnier if it wasn’t so serious…
