After a somewhat long break in movie watching I enjoyed “No Good Deed” (also known as “The House on Turk Street”) on DVD today.

Surprisingly, it was a really nice criminal drama with some erotic romance and suspense at places. I found it surprising because DVD cover has Samual Jackson and Milla Jovovich and a few pictures of men with guns - a sign of really cool action film.

For once the story was interesting, no special effects what-so-ever, nice touch with music and lots of dramatic acting. The events displayed didn’t seem very realistic, but they surely suggested a situation and behavieral models to think about.

Recommended for home watching. 7.4 out of 10.
