Switch to Firefox

Posted in All on August 3rd, 2004 · 4 Comments

There are still a lot of people who use Microsoft Internet Explorer. If you are trying to convince them to give Mozilla Firefox a try, then it might be a good idea to point them to www.switch2firefox.com . Everything they need to know is conveniently gathered in one place. There are both theory, in terms of happy customer reviews and lists of reasons to switch, and practice in the way of direct links for downloading Firefox and all the vital plugins, such as Macromedia Flash and Shockwave, Java, etc.

This site covers Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Solaris.

It is nice one but little bit slow since it is Mozilla :0). As u know i prefer big "O" for Opera. Honestly, I have tried too many browsers and IE clones and as to me, O is the best. It is also very useful for checking up websites since u can easily see coding mistakes.

I don’t see any difference in speed between Opera and Firefox on my machine. Mozilla - yes, a bit slower, but Firefox is as fast as it can be.

Also, for web coding, Firefox has an excellent extension called ‘Web Developer’ - try it, you will never go back. :)

Maybe on your machine it is. Anyway, ‘Web Developer’ extension for Firefox and Mozilla rules. Try it, you’ll love it! :)
