We have seen an excellent French animation - “Les Douze travaux d’Astérix” (”The Twelve Tasks of Asterix”). It’s a geniously drawen action from as far back as 1976. But being old has nothing to do with it, since it covers a range of modern subjects like TV advertising and car parking problems.

Unfortunately for many of us, the only comprehensible way you can see this is in English or Russian translation. But even being translated cannot hide the fact that it is one of the greatest animations ever created.

Strongly recommended for watching with or without kids and having this DVD in the home collection.
