Just watched Stanley Kubrick’s “Lolita” on DVD. The movie is good and all, but there is something about old movies (this is one is from 1962) that turns me down. Maybe I’ve watched too much of them. Maybe it’s the way they act, or do the lighting, or the soundtrack. But there is something in most of them that distance me from them. Unfortunately though. Still this movie is a quality time spending. Those who like old movies will enjoy this one in particular.
